The Grange
Historic Preservation
A modern-day farmstead, the Grange represents a home away from home for the community and visitors alike, as it did for those who worked and lived there for over 130 years. Various Grange-specific retail stores, entertainment, businesses, and restaurants will transport customers to a modern and sustainable interpretation of the Irvine Ranch Historic Park through a period revival in a contemporary setting.
Phase one brings to life Orangery, a contemporary casual restaurant supported by Evidence-Based Design research. It is a modern take on country chic and embodies organic, eco-friendly protocols with a farm-to-table concept amply supplied by the adjacent vegetable garden.
Vinery, the shop, and nursery will sell one-of-a-kind handmade, repurposed, and upcycled pottery and garden art, allowing local artisans and students to display and sell their work. A percentage of the proceeds will be used to offer free field trip classes, seeds, and supplies for the vegetable garden.
